Welcome
We provide free, one-on-one tutoring and other educational services to help adults in Androscoggin County acquire the basic reading, writing and math skills they need to enhance their lives and achieve their personal goals.
For students ~ we offer English Language Learners classes, English Conversation Partners, GED prep, a driver permit tutorial, and Knowledge as Power Family Literacy as well as one-on-one tutoring. All services to students are free and confidential.
For volunteers ~ LV-A offers Tutor Training, Tutor Workshops, and English Conversation Partners Training. Opportunities to help with beginner computer classes, English classes, Scrabble Fest and other LV-A events are also available.
